●       Blisters in wooden floors

Blisters on wooden floors could be an indication that termites are feeding below the surface. If you notice stains on wooden floors that look like water damage, chances are they are termites as well. When termites begin to eat and destroy wooden surfaces in your home, their tooth marks often look like water damage. If you see this happening to your wood floors, you should contact the exterminator immediately.

●       Termite droppings

Termites nest inside the wood and then eat it to create a hollow living space. As a result, their feces are also wood, which essentially produces a substance that looks like sawdust or coffee grounds. Their stools may be in the empty area they have eaten or outside where you will be able to see it. If you notice termite feces, you must call the destroyer immediately.

●       Hollow and damaged timber

Wood damage can be located under and behind the surfaces, as well as on the outside of the wood surface, where you will be able to see it. When termites chew wood, they leave long grooves in the wood, which weaken the material over time, causing structural damage. 

●       A swarm of termites

Termite herds occur when termites leave their nests to mate and find where to start a new colony. After landing, they twist their wings off. They will no longer use their wings because they have found permanent homes. If your home has a termite nest, it is likely that their wings will lay around where the nest is located.
